While restaurant experience may be helpful, Saladworks seeks franchisees with a business management background and people skills.

How much does it cost to open a Saladworks?
The estimated cost of opening a Saladworks ranges from $238,881 for a Food Court location and from $558,223 for a full size location. This amount also depends upon many factors, including the location, which can range from a 500 square foot space in a food court to a 2,500 square foot in-line location in a shopping center.

How do I find a location?
Saladworks must approve all locations. In order to simplify the process, we provide training in site selection so you know what you are looking for and how to find it.

What are the fees involved?
The initial franchise fee is $35,000. Ongoing fees cover a 5% royalty fee and a 3% brand development fee.

What does the franchise fee include?
Use of the Saladworks brand name and model, store design, operational systems and methods, system suppliers providing a one-stop shop, and ongoing support and training.

What type of training do I get?
Saladworks provides an initial 5 – 7 week training program for you and your manager to include all aspects of running a Saladworks restaurant. We’ll provide you our Confidential Recipes Manual and train you in the operation of your business, to include:

Food preparation
“Back of the house” management
“Front of the house” management
Food service safety
Customer service
Point of Sale software
Financial management
Marketing and advertising

In addition, we provide ongoing support through your regional operations manager. You will also attend ongoing training programs throughout the year. And, of course, we are available at our home office to answer any questions that may arise during your busy day.

Who designs and builds my restaurant?
Saladworks provides you with our restaurant design and layout specifications. We’ve developed relationships with architects and contractors who are experienced in our concept to assist you in the build-out of your restaurant. In addition, our Design and Construction team will guide and assist you through the entire process.

How do I know if I have the necessary finances?
The minimum liquid capital required is $125,000. We can refer you to lenders that have experience with Saladworks and will streamline your loan application for the balance of the process.
